We prioritize participant safety and well-being! Please read the contraindications below to see if Kambo is appropriate for you.
Although Kambo is used for healing purposes, in some cases people have experienced adverse effects and, as a result, Kambo is contraindicated (not recommended) for those with:
Heart conditions (e.g., hypertension, hypotension, arrhythmias, pacemakers)
History of stroke or aneurysm
Severe mental health disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, psychosis)
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Organ transplants (risk of immune suppression complications)
Addison’s disease (adrenal insufficiency)
Serious autoimmune disorders (that affect the nervous or cardiovascular systems)
Recent major surgery or recovery from a medical procedure
History of severe allergic reactions to peptides
Extreme dehydration or electrolyte imbalances
Use of certain medications (such as blood thinners, immunosuppressants, or psychiatric medications)
Blood pressure issues
Active substance use
Please note that your safety and well-being is of utmost importance to us. All participants are required to complete a contraindications screening questionnaire before registration is complete. This questionnaire will assess readiness and screen for additional contraindications. We will then conduct a consultation via phone to review your questionnaire, answer questions, and give other preparation instructions.
Please wear loose/comfortable clothing.
Participants must refrain from eating food 7 hours before the ceremony and drink minimal water the morning of the event in addition to avoiding contraindications that will be covered in the screening questionnaire and consultation call.
Please do not wear scents, perfume, or cologne to the event to honor those with chemical sensitivities.
Other details will be provided in your consultation call.
Location will be shared with participants after registration is complete. The session begins at 9 am and concludes at 12 pm. Participants are able to drive home afterwards.
$100 per person for three hour event.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your group event, kindly give us 48 hours’ notice. We can provide a refund or transfer you to a future group event within this window. No-shows or less than 48 hours’ notice will not be refunded.
There are no refunds on services that have already been provided.
